George Hannan operates the Business Idea Generator invited trial. The app asks about your experience, circumstances and preferences to suggest small or sideline business possibilities.
Your answers and report
Your first name, answers and generated report are held in the memory of the open page. They are not saved to a participant account, browser storage or the app’s database. Refreshing or closing the page loses them. Copy or download your report if you want to keep it.
When you select Generate business ideas, your eight answers are sent through the app’s server to OpenAI. Your first name stays in your browser. The app processes answers and the report only while handling the request and does not include them in its operational logs.
Use approximate descriptions and broad categories. Please do not enter confidential information, client names, account details or sensitive personal information. You may answer “Prefer not to say”.
OpenAI processing
OpenAI is the service that generates the ideas. The app requests that responses are not stored for later retrieval and does not request background generation. OpenAI may retain information in abuse-monitoring logs, normally for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its policies. These settings do not remove OpenAI’s own retention obligations. Invitation and operational records
The app stores invitation labels, protected code fingerprints, expiry dates, attempt allowances, request outcomes and spending records. A label may identify the person George invited. These records let George run the trial, control access and resolve failed requests. The database does not hold questionnaire answers or reports.
Participant-linked operational records are scheduled for removal 90 days after the trial closes. Anonymous spending totals may be retained. Access and security checks also use limited technical information to prevent repeated guessing and misuse.
Essential cookies and service providers
The app uses an essential cookie for your invitation session, which lasts up to two hours. Owner sign-in uses separate essential security cookies. There is no advertising, analytics, session recording or tracking-cookie consent banner.
Vercel hosts the deployed app, Neon provides its database, and OpenAI processes generation requests. These providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services. Links to LinkedIn and George’s website open separate services with their own privacy practices.
The private owner area
The owner’s sign-in records include an email address, a protected password, authenticator settings, recovery codes and sessions. They are used to protect administration. Participants do not need accounts and cannot access those records.
Questions and requests
Contact George if you want to ask about your invitation records or request their correction or removal. Answers and reports cannot be retrieved after the open session ends because the app does not save them.
